West Windsor PD Urge Phone, Online Reporting Due To Coronavirus
Police are urging West Windsor residents to report items online and on the phone amid concerns about coronavirus.
WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — As the situation concerning new coronavirus continues to evolve, West Windsor police are asking residents to report incidents online or by phone whenever possible.
The police department is also suspending fingerprinting for 30 days, police announced Thursday morning. They also won’t host tours of police headquarters and will be limiting the number of events they attend.
“If you come to the West Windsor Police Department Headquarters Lobby, we will greet you from behind our glass partitions,” police said in a statement. “If paperwork needs to be exchanged, it will be through the slots and after you use hand sanitizer. This includes all Records Bureau requests. If you have had a fever or any other associated symptoms, please do not come into our headquarters. We are strongly encouraging the use the Online or Phone Call reporting if at all possible.”
