DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to a crash involving an Audi SUV that crashed into the rear of another car. A witness had followed the Audi from South Brunswick after observing it driving in the wrong direction on U.S. Route 1 southbound. The Audi approached his vehicle head-on forcing him to stop in the left lane. The Audi stopped directly in front of him, then rolled forward slowly into the front of his car. The Audi then turned around to go in the proper direction, and continued going until it rear-ended a car that was stopped behind a tractor-trailer. The driver of the Audi, Michelle Kim, was found to be DWI and found to be in possession of a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance suspected of being cocaine, and a bag containing 14 tabs of LSD. A passenger, Vince Pagaoa, who was in the Audi was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Kim was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court. A summons was mailed to Pagaoa for being in possession of marijuana, and he has a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Caulfield was checking the parking lot of the Clarion Hotel when he observed a vehicle backed into the branches of a tree. He performed a random inquiry on the registration that was on the vehicle which revealed that the license plate was stolen, and the vehicle was unregistered. While officers were investigating the vehicle, the owner, Raymond Edness Jr., who has been living at the hotel, came out to his car. Further investigation determined that the license plate was likely stolen from a car that was being serviced at the Pep Boy’s auto repair shop across the street from the hotel. Edness was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to the Princeton Junction Train Station for a male stopping the train from departing by blocking the doorway. Prior to police arrival the male left, but the NJ Transit Conductor wanted him identified. Hashem Tayeh was located shortly thereafter on Station Drive. Tayeh was found to have two warrants for his arrest from Woodbridge, and one from North Brunswick. He was also found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and a small plastic bag containing crack cocaine. Tayeh was processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was then turned over to the custody of Woodbridge police on their warrants.

DETAILS: Ptl. Knox responded to a shoplifting in progress. Upon his arrival on scene, store Assets Protection advised him that Kristin Jace had concealed items into a blue duffel bag she was carrying. Jace paid for two items at the checkout but did not pay for the items in her bag. Ptl. Knox stopped Jace and found $115.94 worth of merchandise in her duffel bag. Jace was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Zicha stopped a suspicious white pickup truck driving around the area of New Village Rd. and Village Rd. East. The NJ license plate on the pickup truck indicated that it was owned by a Church in NJ, but the registration did not exactly match the truck it was on. During the stop, two New York license plates belonging to the white pickup truck were found inside. The driver/owner of the truck, Brian Concannon, claimed that he recently serviced his truck, so the shop must have switched his license plates. A passenger in the truck, John Auditore, was found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Madison, NJ. Auditore was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in Madison Municipal Court. On 12/19/20, after further investigation, it was determined that the NJ license plate that was on the truck was stolen from a Church located in Bernards Township, NJ. Both Auditore and Concannon were charged with receiving stolen property and have dates pending in West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to Windsor Haven on the report of a missing person, possibly in medical distress, driving a Gold Kia SUV. Ptl. Pollini located Nmawa Toe in his vehicle near the exit for the Windsor Haven development. During the investigation, Toe was found to not be in medical distress. However, he was determined to be DWI. A half empty bottle of Vodka was also found under the front passenger seat of Toe’s vehicle. After processing, Toe was released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court

DETAILS: Ptl. Fiore was detailed to an apartment located in Avalon Watch for the report of threats and extortion. The victim reported that he was searching online for escort services and responded to several ads. He then began receiving threatening messages from a phone number he did not recognize. In the text messages, someone threatened to kill him and his family if he did not pay $1,500.00 through a payment app. Later text messages also included some gruesome photographs.
