On or about Monday, June 8, 2020 Kane Communications of Trenton, NJ will begin installation of upgrades to the existing pedestrian crosswalk on Wallace Road near the Princeton Junction Train Station, Wallace Daily parking lot, in front of the Schlumberger property. The work includes new concrete accessibility ramps, a pedestrian activated rectangular rapid flashing beacon system, and enhanced striping of the roadway. The project is being partially funded by an NJDOT Local Aid Transit Village grant. Between the hours of 7AM and 4PM Monday through Friday there will be alternating traffic through the project area. The road will be fully open outside of these hours. Work is anticipated to be completed within 30 calendar days, weather permitting.
