WESTFIELD, NJ - For the first time since 1991, Westfield has a new historic home to add to the map. The first designation of its kind in nearly three decades comes to Robert and Pamela Newell's Clark Street home.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Robert and Pam Newell who recently historically designated their home on Clark Street, the first designation since 1991," Mayor Shelley Brindle said.

In Tuesday's meeting of the Mayor and Council, Brindle said the governing body would following their example by voting on ordinances to designate both the Reeve House and Triangle Park as historic landmarks and hoping that others would be inspired to do the same.
