13-Year-Old Robbed at Knifepoint in West Orange

A man wielding a knife approached a 13-year-old Thursday night and took his Apple cell phone, police said.

The boy was in the parking lot of the CVS drug store at 262 Main St. at approximately 8 p.m. when the suspect confronted him, according to Sgt. William Mango. No injuries were reported.

Police are on the lookout for the suspect described as a black male between the ages of 18 and 20. He has a beard and was wearing a black jacket and a white shirt.
