$50K Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold In West Orange

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A West Orange store sold a Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 for the Wednesday, Jan. 6 drawing, officials said.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 third-tier prize.

It was sold at Quick Shop Food on Mount Pleasant Avenue in West Orange.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 6, drawing were: 01, 20, 22, 60, and 66. The Red Power Ball number was 03. The Multiplier number was 03.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $470 million for the next drawing to be held on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 10:59 p.m.

Wednesday’s ticket was the second big Powerball win in the Oranges this week. A store in East Orange sold a ticket that captured a $50,000 jackpot for the Jan. 2 drawing.
