Colgate Women's Games ‘Coach Of The Year’ Is From West Orange
West Orange High School's Felicia Blake has been named as one of the group's "Coaches of The Year."

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The head coach of the West Orange High School track and field and cross country teams just earned a nod of distinction from the Colgate Women's Games.
Last week, the nation's largest track series for girls, the Colgate Women's Games, announced that West Orange High School’s Felicia Blake has been named as one of its “Coaches of The Year.”
Blake has competed in the Colgate Women’s Game herself, and has brought busloads of young participants to the annual competition from East and West Orange since 1980.

Blake shared the award with Jam Shakwi, head track coach at Bronx High School and The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
“Ms. Blake and Mr. Shakwi represent two of very many caring and committed coaches,” meet director Cheryl Toussaint said. “Their skills and dedication help produce some of today's best young track and field athletes who are sure to become tomorrow's leaders and most successful citizens in all walks of life.”
