EAST ORANGE, NJ — East Orange is reaching out to local residents and former inmates/parolees who want to “get back to work.”
On Thursday, East Orange city officials posted the following callout on social media:
“Employment opportunities for ex-offenders and East Orange residents! Must send resume to the Mayor's Office of Employment and Training at workforce@eastorange-nj.gov or call 973-677-8914 or 862-241-9491 for more information.”

According to the municipal website, the Mayor's Office of Employment and Training services unemployed, low-to-middle-income adults, seniors and disabled residents of the City of East Orange.
