‘Jackknifed Tractor Trailer’ Ties Up I-280 Traffic; Major Delays
A "jackknifed tractor trailer" tied up traffic on I-280 in Essex County prior to the Thursday evening rush hours, a report said.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A jackknifed tractor trailer tied up traffic on I-280 in Essex County prior to the Thursday evening rush hours. Major delays were seen in the area, a report said.
According to NJ511.org, a tractor trailer “jackknifed” on I-280 eastbound, west of exit 7 in West Orange.
“The right and center lanes are closed,” NJ511 stated. “Only the left lane is open to traffic. [The incident is] causing major delays in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or use an alternate route.”
