Police: Man Breaks Main Street Restaurant's Windows with Crowbar
The 51-year-old Newark man told police he returned to the West Orange restaurant after being allegedly assaulted there Saturday night.

A 51-year-old was arrested Sunday afternoon after he allegedly smashed the windows of a Main Street restaurant with a crowbar, West Orange police said.
William Meyer, of Newark, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. on May 12 at Los Tapa Tios, 8 Main St., according to the report.Â
Police said Meyer claimed he was assaulted at the restaurant the night before.Â

Meyer was charged with criminal mischief and released with a court date in West Orange Municipal Court on May 22.
