School Board Meeting and Firefighters Promotion, Swearing-In Ceremony This Week Ahead

On Monday, West Orange's Board of Education meeting is scheduled for 8 p.m at West Orange High School, 51 Conforti Ave. Agenda is attached for review. 

In its last meeting, the West Orange Board of Education that will include a 2.48-percent tax increase. Check out full budget here.

On Tuesday, the West Orange Fire Department will hold a swearing-in ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Liberty Middle Scool. Fourteen recruits will be sworn-in as probationary firefighters as well as two firefighters promoted to fire captains.

On Thursday, the Special West Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting will take place at 8 p.m., also at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main St. Agenda attached. 

The Arts Council will also meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall in Conference Room 109.
