Two West Orange Students Accepted to Top State School
High school students, Hannah Rudoltz and Susannah Crowell, have been accepted to the Governor's School of New Jersey for the summer.

Recognized for their high grade point averages, two West Orange High School students were recently accepted to the Governor's School of New Jersey.
“I am proud of both Susannah Crowell and Hannah Rudoltz for their acceptance into the Governor's school," high school principal Hayden Moore said. "Their hard work and accomplishments are an inspiration for all Mountaineers past and present."
Rudoltz and Crowell are both at the top of their class academically but also participate in numerous extracurricular activities, which is what the school is looking for, according to the high school's guidance counselor, Madelin Fernandez-Perez.

According to the state's website, the Governor's School is a summer program for the academically talented high school students who have completed their junior year.
The focual point of studies at the summer school held at Rutgers and Drew universities is solving complex issues that exist on a local, state, national and international level, and leadership training.

The school is a tuition-free summer program that is supported by a state appropriation and donations from corporations, organizations and private donors.
“Hannah and Susannah have a strong interest in math and science and are motivated to embrace every opportunity,” Fernandez-Perez added.
