WEST ORANGE, NJ — A West Orange author and his two, sports-loving sons have placed another literary feather in their cap with the release of their latest book, “Rising Above: Inspiring Women in Sports,” published by Penguin/Philomel Books.

According to Gregory Zuckerman, a writer at The Wall Street Journal and a local sports buff, he wrote the book with his two sons, Gabriel and Elijah, after conducting six months of interviews with female superstar athletes such as Serena and Venus Williams, Simone Biles and Carli Lloyd.

“Our book is for sports fans, aspiring athletes and young readers eager to learn how one can develop perseverance, self-confidence and determination,” Zuckerman said.
