West Orange High Students Chronicle Daughters Of Israel Histories

Students in the ninth grade world history honors course gave presentations on the lives of 14 residents to an audience of friends, family and community members.

With Older Americans Month and Jewish History Month coinciding, students of Doug Drabik's world history honors class featured the lives of Daughters of Israel residents.

Students in the ninth grade class were required to do biographical research of a resident of DOI during the school year for project, led by the Jewish Historical Society, which culminated into a final presentation that took place last Friday.

The presentation featured 14 residents as students gave oral histories of their subject to an audience of friends, family and community members.
