WEST ORANGE, NJ — We asked. West Orange answered.

It turns out local residents aren’t shy about offering ideas about new businesses they’d like to see come to town in 2020. People replying to our social media callout earlier this week offered a range of suggestions.

  • Wegmans
  • Somewhere kids can go hang out, like a Yestercades or comic book shop
  • Starbucks
  • Trader Joe's
  • Blink Gym
  • Wawa
  • QuickChek
  • Walmart
  • Cuban food

"A coffeeshop that you can sit in, maybe does open mic nights now and then and becomes a neighborhood spot /part of the community," a commenter wrote.

"Bagels by Jarrett," another said, referring to the long-awaited opening of a local eatery.
