What Business Should Move into West Orange?

Let's call this a modern spin on community planning — Patch's version of a charette, a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table.

In an occasional column, we'll present a new vacant space and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules, and all the other zoning jargon that puts people most to sleep.

We launch this occasional feature by focusing on the now spot in the shopping center at the intersection of Prospect and Eagle Rock avenues with Whole Food and K-Mart where a few storefronts are open.

Last time we ran this piece Patch picked a vacant spot in Essex Green Shopping Center near the ShopRite.

Residents suggested many different businesses, such as:

• TJ Maxx or Home Goods from Vicki Russo
• computer games store or a hobby store from hugh lindsay
  
• Starbucks was suggested by a few 
  
• Urban Outfitters or Anthropologie outlet from Sruti Kanthan 
  

What business would you like to see move into West Orange?

So with a few of bars, restaurants and shops in West Orange, now it's up to you to suggest what business should move in. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?
