Demarest Farms' Haunted Orchards Returns

HILLSDALE, NJ – Ghouls, ghosts and other scary creatures are making a return to Demarest Farms.

On Thursday, the farm kicks off its annual Haunted Orchards attraction, which features a spooky hayride, haunted houses, animatronics and actors deep in the apple orchards.

After debuting last fall to sell-out crowds, this year's attraction will take it up a notch with new additions, more actors, new technology and other special treats.

Between Oct. 3 and 26, it'll be open Thursdays through Sundays, and then daily from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.

For its opening weekend, Alex Vincent of “Child’s Play” will be on hand to help kick things off. Vincent, a New Jersey native actor, writer and audio engineer/producer, is known for portraying Andy Barclay in all four “Child’s Play” movies.

On Friday and Saturday, Vincent will appear at Haunted Orchards At Demarest Farms from 6 to 10 p.m. both nights. Included with the price of admission is a complimentary meet and greet with Vincent and an autograph or photograph.
