Mobile Coronavirus Testing Comes To Hillsdale

HILLSDALE, NJ — Bergen County's community mobile coronavirus testing initiative will stop in Hillsdale on Wednesday, June 24.

Started in May, the program, a partnership between the county and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, was launched in an effort to expand testing across the county.

Testing begins for first responders is available on Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Non-first responders will be tested between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

In addition to the saliva test available to all residents and community members, first responders, healthcare workers and Bergen County community members who had a prior positive COVID-19 test can receive an antibody test. There is a testing limit of 100 tests a day for the antibody tests.

The mobile testing center will be set up at the Stonybrook Swim Club, 183 Cedar Lane. Those who wish to receive a test should bring a form of identification, proof of residency in the county or employment with municipal or county government, and an insurance card, if applicable.
