New Kimichi Smoke Bergen Restaurant Gets Opening Date
Robert Cho is expanding Kimchi Smoke's menu at the new location. And a pastry chef is bringing chimney cakes to Kimchi Smoke March 31.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Kimchi Smoke's newest restaurant is slated to open soon.
Owner and chef Robert Austin Cho said Kimchi Smoke KTX should open at H Mart in Little Ferry in early May. Kimchi Smoke's Westwood location will remain open.
Cho will serve newer items at the Little Ferry location, including: Korean corn dogs, L.A. street tacos, spicy Adobo chicken, and Texas Duk Bokki, spicy rice cakes.

Cho has received critical acclaim both locally and across the country for his food, especially his brisket, which he even used to make his version of a Chonut. He also faced off against Bobby Flay on Food Network's "Best Bobby Flay."
In related news, Kurly Kurtosh is bringing their signature Hungarian sweet pastries known as chimney cakes to Kimchi Smoke March 31 from 2 to 6 p.m.

The cakes are covered in cinnamon and filled with things like icing and Nutella hazelnut spread.
Kurly Kurtosh's owner, Nicole Shaw-Provillon learned how to make the sweet treats in Hungary and even tried to break the Guinness world record for most chimney cakes made.
