Old Westwood Coach Earns Seton Hall Prep Job
Vito Campanile led Westwood to two straight state championships.

A former state champion football coach at Westwood has now agreed to coach Seton Hall Prep.
NJ.com reports he accepted the new position at the end of March:
Former Westwood coach Vito Campanile told NJ Advance Media that he has accepted the vacant head coaching position at Seton Hall Prep left by veteran John Finnegan, who retired from coaching in February.

Campanile, who led the Cardinals to back-to-back state titles in 2013 and 2014, will take over a Pirates team that finished 6-4 last season and lost to top-ranked St. Peter’s Prep in the first round of the NJSIAA Non-Public, Group 4 playoffs.
Campanile’s father was a highly successful coach as well, leading Paramus Catholic for nearly a decade, the report states.
