Seasoned Pascack Valley Jazz Musician To Perform This Month

Gene Perla has performed with Miles Davis, Woody Herman, and Sarah Vaughan.

HILLSDALE, N.J.— A Pascack Valley High School alumnus will perform with his Go Trio at the New Jersey Society Social later on this month.

Gene Perla's trio, Go Trio, will play at the social at Shanghai Jazz in Madison Oct. 16 from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Perla grew up in Woodcliff Lake and has played with several legendary jazz musicians, including Miles Davis, Woody Herman, and Sarah Vaughan.

Admission costs $10.
