St. John's Drive Gathers 2.5 Tons of Clothing

Local high school students helped load the donated clothes into a truck.

The Holy Name Society of St. John the Baptist parish in Hillsdale held their annual clothing drive this month.

Parishioners and residents donated about 2.5 tons of clothing, which local students helped load into a box truck, according to Society President Charlie Benante.

The clothing was brought to St. Andrew's in Westwood, where it will be sorted and distributed to those in need regardless of religious affiliation, according to Joe Conway, the drive coordinator.
