WCFR Sixth Anniversary & Fundraising Gala Live Entertainment - Rockland Music Conservatory!

The WCFR Sixth Anniversary & Gala will be held September 30th, 2017 from 6-10pm at the Time Nyack in Nyack, NY.

Nyack, N.Y. (September 12th, 2017) – Join Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 for their Sixth Anniversary and Fundraising Gala. The gala will bring together like-minded individuals and businesses who share the same belief that education and training can help save lives, while celebrating the organization’s accomplishments and honoring their lifesaving partners. The event, from 6-10 pm, will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at The Time Nyack, a new, hip, and upscale 133-room boutique lifestyle hotel, where those coming to Nyack, NY can stay in comfort. Attendees can expect free valet parking, live entertainment, fine dining from BV’s Grill and an open bar.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. proudly announces its Sixth Anniversary and Fundraising Gala cocktail hour live entertainment: Rockland Conservatory of Music. WCFR is extremely grateful for the Rockland Conservatory of Music's support. The On Wings Quartet players are: Benjamin Chun, Ally Chun, Abigail Abragan and Caroline McDermott.

Rockland Conservatory of Music History & brief description: Founded in 1956 by musicians Janet and Ed Simons who believed that anyone who had the desire to make music part of their life, should be able to do so, regardless of their ability to pay full tuition. We give individual lessons in all instruments, including harp and voice, in Classical, Jazz and Rock styles. We offer group classes in Musicianship, Suzuki strings, piano, flute & guitar methods, Youth Choir, String Orchestra, Jazz@The Rock (high school band), JazzCats (middle school band), Chamber ensembles for youth, adults & senior citizens, Music Therapy groups for physically and mentally challenged adults and one-on-one Music Therapy for children and teens and All Tuned In, a newly formed chorus for those with dementia and their caregivers. We give concerts for under-served community residents in nursing homes, non-profit events, and provide Cultural Arts experiences in the E. Ramapo school district through a grant.

Mission: The Rockland Conservatory of Music is a community music school and center for the performing arts, created to provide quality professional music instruction to students of diverse ages, abilities and financial backgrounds and to provide a community forum for performing arts, culture and entertainment.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. was founded in September 2011 with a mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”. Their programs have proven to empower individuals in their own community and save lives. WCFR has educated and trained over 250,000 people worldwide. All funds raised at the gala will support their programs that save lives.
