Coats can be donated at Playa Bowls locations across Bergen County, including in Westwood. Here's what else you need to know.
WESTWOOD, NJ — A group of local organizations and businesses have teamed up for a holiday coat drive this winter across Bergen County, spearheaded by Englewood-based model Briana Browne and Playa Bowls.
Browne and her non-profit, The 370 Foundation, have joined forces Playa Bowls, One Warm Coat, Eva’s Village, and Marilyn Agency New York to host the coat drive, collecting "clean, gently worn or new coats."
As part of the coat drive, all Bergen County Playa Bowls locations, including the Westwood location at 99 Westwood Ave., will incorporate an in-store activation, designed by Tribu.

This activation includes "a photo wall creating an 'instagrammable' moment to engage donors, an interactive clothing rack to hang the donated coats, and a note wall to 'leave a coat, leave a note' for the families who will be receiving the donations," the organizations announced in a joint statement.
Together, they are hoping to collect 150 coats while bringing "awareness to fashion sustainability and women's health."

All donations and proceeds will go to Eva’s Village, "a non-profit organization working to provide care and support for people struggling with poverty, hunger, homelessness, and addiction," according to the statement.
"Everything we collect in our community will be distributed in our community and help our neighbors stay safe and warm this winter," they said.
