Washington Township's Dog House Named Best Bar In Bergen County
The Meat Lovers' burger, with its six slices of Taylor ham, deep-fried pepperoni and twice-fried bacon, is the bar's signature item.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Dog House Saloon & Grill was named the best bar in Bergen County.
Peter Genovese of NJ.com featured the bar in his roundup of the best bars in New Jersey and highlighted the family-owned business' signature item: The Meat Lovers' Burger. Six slices of Taylor ham (or pork roll depending on where you're from, 13 slices of bacon, deep-fried pepperoni and cheddar cheese.
Genovese said the burger is the "biggest one in Bergen County."

The bar is also known for its chili and award-winning, beer-battered onion rings.
Dog House features live music and is open seven days a week.
