Brooklyn E-Commerce Company Relocates To Linden

LINDEN, NJ — A sign of the times: A Brooklyn-based e-commerce company has leased the entirety of 607 East Edgar Road in Linden, an 18,000-square-foot industrial building. The building is owned by Academy Realty Group LLC.

The company is Brooklyn Sweat Tees, which sells t-shirts and sweatshirts online. They formerly operated out of Sunset Park, a warehouse section of Brooklyn. That's 607 Edgar Rd. pictured above.

Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC), a leading industrial real estate services firm in New Jersey, brokered the lease.

"This transaction with a Brooklyn-based e-commerce company further illustrates the trend of e-commerce users leasing more and more space in New Jersey, especially near the ports and Newark Liberty Airport," said Jordan Metz, senior vice president of BRC. "Firms can reach New York City metro area customers overnight or within hours."

607 East Edgar Road is located directly off Rts. 1 and 9, with access to New Jersey Turnpike, Port Newark/Elizabeth, Newark Liberty Airport, I-78 and the Goethals Bridge to Staten Island and Brooklyn, New York. The property totals 18,000 square feet and has 12-foot ceilings, one overhead drive-in door, wet sprinklers, 400 amps power and free surface parking.

Currently, BRC is handling in excess of three million square feet of corporate and industrial real estate in New Jersey.
