Carteret Hosts First-Ever Country Music Night Thursday
Come for country music cover band Radio Nashville, and stay for the mechanical bull and line dancing. 7 p.m. Thursday at Waterfront Park.
CARTERET, NJ — Looking for something to do? This Thursday evening, July 25, come out to Waterfront Park in Carteret for the town's first-ever Country Music Night.
This will be the borough of Carteret’s first-ever “Country Music Night,” held Thursday, July 25 at Waterfront Park, 200 Middlesex Avenue. The show begins at 7 p.m. The free public event will feature live music from popular country music cover band Radio Nashville, as well as a mechanical bull and line dancing.
Radio Nashville is a six-piece band which performs top modern country hits from Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Kady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Luke Perry, Kenny Chesney, and classic country artists like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.

“Carteret offers a wide variety of events, which highlight the Borough’s diverse population and culture,” said Carteret Mayor Dan Reiman. “From Sikh Day in May, to Latin Fest on July 27, Ethnic Day on September 21, Country Music Night on July 25, and flag raisings for dozens of democratic countries throughout the year, there is something for families of every background to enjoy.”
Carteret also features live music every Sunday evening throughout the Summer as part of its Concerts by the Bay series at Waterfront Park at 7 pm and every Friday evening in the Summer at Carteret Park at 7 p.m. for its Concerts in the Park series.
