Funeral Services For Old Bridge Man Involved in Murder Suicide

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Funeral arrangements have been announced for the man involved in the murder-suicide that tragically happened Christmas Eve in Cliffwood Beach.

A viewing for Thomas Tucker Vuocolo, 55, will be Friday afternoon, Dec. 29 at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home at 15 Cherry Lane in Parlin. A burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Keyport Saturday, Dec. 30 at 10:30 a.m.

Vuocolo, 55, and his wife Cindy Marcinczyk, 47, both of the Cliffwood Beach section, were found in their home on Dec. 24. It was an apparent murder-suicide.

Old Bridge police responded to the home at approximately 9 p.m. Christmas Eve and arrived to find a man, a woman and a dog dead at the scene due to gunshot wounds. A second dog who sustained a gunshot wound was taken to an animal hospital and is recovering, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. Born in Newark, Vuocolo resided in the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge Township since 1981. He and his wife both loved to ride motorcycles.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Thomas’s name be made to Knights of Fire Chapter 4, P.O. Box 445 Piscataway, NJ 08855.
