Get Your Costume On! Halloween City is Open for Business

If you've been waiting for Halloween City to open, the wait is over. The store has officially opened for business, report several Halloween fanatics who are in rapture over their favorite holiday store chain offering their tricks and treats to the public.

Whatever the snafu was - ceiling tiles or more sinister reasons - they've been resolved and the store's doors are open to Halloween fanatics who can't wait to get their costumes on and homes decorated in the latest in ghoulware.

A subsidiary of Party City, Halloween City set up shop in the old A&P across from Woodbridge High School on St. Georges Avenue. The chain usually opens up in September for the month of October, and then closes after a huge sale a few days after October 31.

They ran into a few snags, though, when the township clamped down on missing ceiling tiles, and apparently a few other issues. Burlington Coat Factory, however, had no such difficulties with their store's grand opening last Friday, even though an entire section of the parking deck collapsed in August and remains missing. 

Halloween City is also still taking applications for employment. Stop by during store hours.
