Woodbridge Is Now U.S. Headquarters For Global Shipping Company

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Global shipping company DSV just moved their U.S. headquarters to a new 97,000-square-foot office building at 200 Wood Avenue South in Metropark.

DSV does global transport and logistics of road, air, sea and rail freight. They also do warehousing. DSV signed a long-term lease at 200 Wood Avenue South, and moved into the entire third floor in April.

The shipping company said they selected Woodbridge for its strategic location to the Metropark train station (NJ Transit and Amtrak Acela stop there), access to New Jersey’s skilled labor force and easy commute in and out of New York City.

That building is owned by SJP Properties, which announced the move Monday.

SJP did a complete interior and exterior renovation at 200 Wood Avenue South, including putting in a brand-new lobby, plus an on-site dining area and state-of-the-art fitness center for employees.

Outdoor meetings/outdoor work space have also become more popular as the U.S. and American business sector heals from the pandemic: At 200 Wood Avenue, there is a private outdoor area for employees in the form of landscaped open green space — the only space of its kind within New Jersey — that is available exclusively for a future tenant to customize into a private patio, outdoor lounge, dining area or garden conferencing space. SJP also put in a modern HVAC system and upgraded mechanical systems — including air filtration upgrades for improved air quality to create a healthier environment for employees.
