Helicopter Lands On Parkway In Woodbridge After Serious Crash
Breaking: A helicopter just landed on the Garden State Parkway northbound near Exit 131 A in the Woodbridge Twp./MetroPark area.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A medevac helicopter just landed on the Garden State Parkway northbound near exit 131 in the Woodbridge Township/MetroPark area, a Fios reporter just tweeted. There is a serious crash just before Exit 131 A, the Wood Avenue south exit. One lane is blocked.
As of 1 p.m. Friday, traffic near Exit 131 A is at a standstill and many emergency vehicles are on the scene.
There was a vehicle overturned in the center lane, and one person was rushed by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick with severe injuries.
