Woodbridge had six inches of snow by 9:45 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Newark Airport had 11 inches at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, and Sussex County had over a foot.

A spokeswoman for Middlesex County said, so far, there were no snow-related issues, countywide.

"Our DPW crews were out in advance and all streets were pre-treated, plowed and salted by early morning," said Woodbridge spokesman John Hagerty on Thursday morning. "We had no reports of any motor vehicle accidents or issues related to the storm."

All Woodbridge schools essentially had a snow day on Thursday, as superintendent Robert Zega said he was worried teachers and students would lose electricity and be unable to sign into their virtual classroom. Also, some teachers teach from their classroom and their Thursday morning commute would be too dangerous, he said.

NJ Transit shut down all service Wednesday night, but resumed bus and train service at 11 a.m. Thursday. Enjoy the snow!
