Middlesex County Offers Composting Workshops

The free seminars will be held at the Middlesex County EARTH Center in Davidson's Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.

Middlesex County is offering composting workshops in South Brunswick.

The workshops are open to all county residents who want to learn how to reduce trash and “create a natural gardening resource by composting yard waste and kitchen scraps,” a news release said.

The free seminars will be held at the Middlesex County EARTH Center in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.

The workshops run for about 2 hours.

Backyard Composting will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17; Vermi-Composting (using worms) will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21.
