New Rental Complex Opens by Metuchen Train Station

Metuchen, NJ - You've seen the construction underway for months, and now the new luxury rental apartment complex by the Metuchen train station has opened.

There are 1- and 2-bedroom apartments available at Woodmont Metro at Metuchen Station, all of which feature luxury finishes and upscale amenities. Select apartments may include a den, a private street-level terrace or a balcony. Rents start at $2,090 for a 1-bedroom and $2,640 for a 2-bedroom, Woodmont, the developer, exclusively told Patch.

Woodmont Metro will feature a center courtyard with a pool and hot tub for residents, as well as chairs for sunning, an outdoor fireplace and BBQ grilling areas. There is also an indoor pet spa on site. Residents have access to a fitness center, a club room and the rooftop terrace. The complex — located at 20 New Street in Metuchen (corner of Pearl and New streets) — really is only steps from the Metuchen train station.

The complex is now taking applications, with the first move-ins anticipated for February.

There is ground-floor retail, which the developer describes as a "European-styled piazza," however, no retail tenants have signed on yet; talks with some are underway.
