Pennoni Associates, an award-winning engineering, design, and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Todd Hay, PE, CME has been promoted to associate vice president. Mr. Hay serves as the firm’s office director for its Edison location.

Mr. Hay is responsible for client service and business development efforts for the office and manages the success and growth of the northern New Jersey staff and projects. He has more than 20 years of municipal and site design engineering experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Temple University and a master’s degree in urban and transportation planning from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has also been involved in the preparation of local, state, and federal grants, as made available to municipalities. Mr. Hay has served as the appointed Borough Engineer for the Borough of Bloomingdale, Passaic County, New Jersey, and the appointed Township and Planning Board Engineer for the Township of Springfield, Union County, New Jersey. Currently, Mr. Hay serves as the appointed Township Planning and Zoning Board Engineer for the Township of Nutley, Essex County, New Jersey. He is both a registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Municipal Engineer in New Jersey.

Mr. Hay has served as principal-in-charge and project manager for high-profile clients such as US Army Corps of Engineers, McDonalds, Goldman Sachs, IBM, General Growth Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Toll Brothers City. He has represented construction contractors and New Jersey State transportation authorities. Currently, Mr. Hay works with the New Jersey State Attorney General’s Office with state matters of condemnation and takings as a Certified Non-Real Estate Specialist.
