Photos: Woodbridge Volunteers Honored

Some 50 volunteers were honored this week in Woodbridge.

During a ceremony at the Woodbridge Community Center, they received the 2015 Mayor’s Community Volunteer Award for distinguished community service.

The event was hosted by Mayor John E. McCormac and the members of the township council.

Among those volunteers were those who provide tutor and coach students, spent time as hospital aides, clothing and food driver coordinators and serve as first aid squad members and firefighters, a news release from the township said.
