Sheriff's Office Welcomes New Recruits
The county Sheriff's Office has 19 new recruits in its ranks.

Nineteen new recruits to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office were recently sworn-in during a ceremony on December 20 in New Brunswick.
The new officers included 18 sheriff's officers and one sheriff's investigator, according to a press release from the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office.Â
Each of the officers went through 24 weeks of training, 17 graduating from the Somerset County Police Academy and two from the Monmouth County Police Academy. All of the recruits are Middlesex County residents, according to the release.
