The Middlesex County Board of Taxation voted unanimously last Friday to order two towns to reevaluate proeprty values for tax purposes, NJ.com reported.
The towns that would undergo revals were not immediately disclosed.
"We're doing some fact-finding and some statistical analysis and by year end we will order two towns to schedule revaluations," Board President Richard Lorentzen told NJ.com.

Two towns have already been forced to do tax revals: South River and Dunellen. Those towns had not undergone property assessments in 30 and 33 years, respectively.
Under a reval, it's likely property taxes will go up for many homeowners in those towns. Property taxes may stay the same, or even go down, for others.
