Old Bridge, NJ - You already watched Old Bridge resident Laurie Hernandez help Team USA claim a gold medal during her very first Olympic debut. But check out this clip below of an 8-year-old Hernandez doing her floor routine. Laurie trains at MG Elite (Monmouth Gymnastics Academy) in Morganville. Hernandez's brother famously promised he would take her to Wawa to celebrate her gold medal Olympic win.

On Monday night, Hernandez will go up against fellow Team USA member Simone Biles in the balance beam finals. Simone already has three Olympic gold medals under belt, in team all-around, individual all-around and vault. Which one are you rooting for?
