Woodbridge Arbor Day/Earth Day Saturday: All The Events
Here's the schedule of the toy exchange, Blue Acres tour and raffle giveaways from 9-1 p.m. Saturday, Town Hall parking lot:
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge will hold its Earth Day and Arbor Day town celebration Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. outside Woodbridge Town Hall.
Starting at 10 a.m. there will be a tree planting. At 11 a.m. an Earth Yoga fitness class, at 11:30 kids' fitness classes, at noon a Zumba class and 12:45 raffle winners will be announced. There will be prizes and giveaways.
At 11 a.m. the public is invited to take a tour of Blue Acre properties in Woodbridge: These are flooded or high-flood risk properties that the state Department of Environmental Protection buys back from the owner, and preserves as wild, open space. There are several in Woodbridge.

Also, if you have old toys in the house you want to get rid of, bring them Saturday and collect new ones (other kids' old toys) in the Woodbridge Toy Exchange. There will also be a photobooth set up to take Mother's Day photos.
