Woodbridge Man Charged With Murder, Attempted Murder
An Iselin man was arrested Wednesday night and charged with murdering one member of his household, and the attempted murder of another.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — An Iselin man was arrested Wednesday night and charged with murdering one member of his household, and the attempted murder of another, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Director Robert Hubner.
Rahul Anumala, 45, of Iselin, was taken into custody and charged one count of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder.
Police did not reveal any more details beyond alleging that Anumala assaulted and killed one household member and then attempted to kill another.

It is not clear if the victims were his family members or his roommates.
Anumala is presently lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center where he is being held pending a pre-trial detention hearing in Superior Court.
