Woodbridge Opens New Senior Center
The center in the Port Reading section of town has activity rooms, a game room, and a computer learning center with free Wi-Fi.
Woodbridge officials recently held a grand-opening ceremony at the new Sycamore Senior Center in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge.
The Sycamore Senior Center will serve residents ages 60 and older, from Port Reading, Woodbridge, Sewaren, Fords and Keasbey.
Mayor John E. McCormac and the Woodbridge Department of Health & Human Services held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the center on Wednesday.

The center, located in the former Port Reading Knights of Columbus building, 290 Old Road.
It will offer social, recreational, educational, and health and wellness programs, a township news release said.

The center is equipped with activity rooms, a game room, a computer learning center with free Wi-Fi and a cafe area with a kitchen.
It is open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
