Woodbridge's Fireworks Are Postponed To Monday

Woodbridge's fireworks show will now go off Monday night, July 5 still at Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge's huge and highly anticipated fireworks show for Friday night has now been postponed until Monday, July 5 due to thunderstorms in the forecast for Friday.

Woodbridge's fireworks show will now go off Monday, July 5 still at Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren.

Gates open at 4 p.m. onwards. And yes, band The Nerds will still perform Monday before and after the show, joined by local band Power Train.

"The Township fireworks display is being postponed until Monday due to the high probability of thunderstorms with high winds and lightning after 4 p.m.," said Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac on Friday.
