5 Things: IHHS Scholarship Awards Night

Tonight is scholarship night at Indian Hills High School. The presentations begin at 7 p.m. Here's "5 Things" for today:

1.  More than $110,000 worth of scholarships will be distributed to graduation seniors at Indian Hills High School tonight. 

2. Memorial scholarships will be given in honor of former teachers and students.

3. More than 70 different local scholarships are offered to Indian Hills students. 

4. Each year, the Gackstatter Foundation presents up to $4,000 to help students with financial needs. 

5. A little more than half of the graduating class will be scholarship funds tonight. Awards range from $250 to $2,000 per scholarship and some students receive more than one award.
