American Dream Plans Valentine's Day Pop-Up Shops

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Love is in the air at American Dream.

The Meadowlands mega-mall has planned several activities, such as photobooths, a pet adoption day, pop-up shops, ice skating events and giveaways, to mark Valentine’s Day.

Here are a few of the events planned as part of "Let Your Love Pop At American Dream:"

Spread Love

• Snap pics American Dream’s Valentine’s Day themed photobooths and larger-than-life L-O-V-E installation. Post your photos and tag @americandream with the hashtag #WeAreTheAmericanDream for a chance to be featured on the mall's Instagram.
• Date: All month long
• Location: Court A and The Rink

Date Night Glam

• Sephora, opening soon at American Dream, will be on site to help you create the perfect date night look. Choose from an array of complimentary mini-makeover services throughout the weekends.
• Date: Jan 31 – Feb. 2, Feb. 7 – 9, Feb. 14 – 16 (Fridays 4-8 p.m., Saturdays 12-8 p.m., Sundays 12-6 p.m.)

Be My Valentine

• Find the perfect pop-up Valentine card for all your friends, family, and loved ones at Lovepop , which will soon open at the mall.
• Date: Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, Feb. 7 – 9, Feb. 14 – 16 (Fridays 4-8 p.m., Saturdays 12-8 p.m., Sundays 12-6 p.m.)

Let Love Bloom

• Treat your Valentine to floral arrangements from local florist, Unique Flowers.
• Date: Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, Feb. 7 – 9, Feb. 14 – 16 (Fridays 4-8PM, Saturdays 12-8PM, Sundays 12-6PM)
• Location: Court A

Treat Yourself

• Gift yourself and your Valentine to hand-painted, artisanal chocolates from Chocolate Studio.
• Date: Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, Feb. 7 – 9, Feb. 14 – 16 (Fridays 4-8PM, Saturdays 12-8PM, Sundays 12-6PM)

Goodies for the Gals

• Visit Ulta at The Rink for exclusive Valentine’s Day product giveaway opportunities. The beauty retailer will soon open at American Dream.
• Date: Feb. 14 – 16 (Friday 4-8PM, Saturday 12-8PM, Sunday 12-6PM)
• Location: The Rink

Fur-ever Friends

• Underdog Initiative in partnership with Animal Lighthouse Rescue will be popping up at American Dream. These New York City based animal rescue groups will bring dogs and puppies to American Dream that are available for adoption.
• Date: Feb. 8 from 1-4PM
• Location: Court C

Date Skate

• Bring your friends, girls, guys, or the whole family for a Valentine’s Day ice-skating evening at The Rink! Skate rentals will be free, and tunes spun by DJ Prince Hakim.
• Date: Feb 14 from 5-8 PM
• Location: The Rink

American Dream, the massive $5 billion shopping and entertainment venue, opened in October 2019.

For now, Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park, IT'SUGAR candy store, Big SNOW indoor ski park and an NHL-size ice rink are open to the public.

DreamWorks Water Park, an indoor water park that will include the world's largest indoor water coaster, a free fall slide with a 70-foot drop, a lazy river and a 1.5-acre wave pool was supposed to open Nov. 27, but the mall recently announced it would be delayed until further notice.

Other attractions, shopping and dining will follow over the next several months.
