Are Gas Prices Stabilizing?

As gas hits $4 a gallon, many are wondering if we've hit the ceiling.

According to a story by the Associated Press, AAA Mid-Atlantic is reporting gas prices have stayed the same for two weeks, causing speculation that gas prices are finally leveling off.

A Franklin Lakes Patch, we've been keeping an eye on gas prices, helping you to save by finding the cheapest gas prices around. As of Sunday night, this is what we found:

The best price on regular gas can be found at the Citgo on Franklin Avenue, at $3.919 per gallon, up just 2 cents from two weeks ago, according to motortrend.com. In fact, almost every week since this column began, the Citgo station has had the best price for regular. Several area stations (like three of the four Lukoil stations in Wyckoff) have regular topping $4.

For the same price —$4.199 a gallon — drivers can fill up on premium at the Lukoil station at 401 Goffle Road in Wyckoff.
