
If you've been frantically searching through your paperwork for your third quarter tax bill, you can stop stressing: It hasn't been mailed yet.Â
The tax bills were delayed pending state certification and are now ready to be mailed. Due to the late mailing, the grace period has been extended to Sept. 6
"If you would like to pay your third quarter taxes now, please contact our office,"Â Tax Collector Philip Moore announced Thursday.Â

The grace period will be extended to Tuesday, Sept. 6. Payments received after September 6 will have interest charged back to Aug. 1 as mandated by the State of New Jersey.Â
The Tax Collection Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be open late on the nights of Monday, Aug. 22 and Aug. 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
