Bergen County Bar Named As 1 Of Country's Best Craft Beer Bars

On Thursday, CraftBeer.com revealed its annual list of the Top American Beer Bars​ across all 50 states.

DUMONT, NJ – Grant Street Café was recently ranked as one of the best places to grab a craft beer in the country.

On Thursday, CraftBeer.com, a website run by the Brewers' Association, revealed its annual list of the Top American Beer Bars across all 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.

According to the ranking, "Considered the hidden gem of Bergen County, New Jersey, Grant Street Cafe has been family-owned since 1989. Grant’s is famous for its thin crust pizza, pots of mussels and rotating craft beer selection. The 22 draft lines are constantly flowing with local favorites from Kane, Icarus and Sloop, to some of America’s most respected breweries like Maine, Lawson’s and Allagash."

In a Facebook post celebrating the news, Grant Street Cafe wrote, "What an Honor it is to be Voted 2020 Top American Beer Bar in New Jersey. Grants Joins the Ranks of Previous Winners ChurchKey In Washington DC, Cloverleaf in Caldwell NJ and Torst in NYC. Thank You and Cheers!"

According to CraftBeer.com, readers were asked to nominated their favorite craft beer bar in their state and nominations are tallied by editors on a state-by-state basis to create the ranking.
