Bergen Volunteers Names New CEO
Nina Bachrach has been named the CEO of the Hackensack-based group, joining the organization at a "critical moment in our history."
HACKENSACK, NJ — Nina Bachrach, of Englewood, NJ, has been named Chief Executive Officer at Bergen Volunteers, the organization announced.
Bachrach will begin her tenure effective Sept. 14 the agency’s Board of Directors announced Monday.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nina Bachrach as our CEO,” said David Warshaw, President of the Bergen Volunteers Board. “Nina’s leadership skills, civic engagement experience, and community knowledge are an ideal combination that will help Bergen Volunteers build on its already enviable record of achievement.”

Bachrach served most recently as the Director of Arts and Culture Development at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly, NJ. She previously served as Director of Communications for the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ, and Administrative Director at RBI, an Englewood research and consulting firm.
She is a board member of the Hackensack Performing Arts Center and serves on the Board of Trustees of Flat Rock Brook Nature Center.

“I am delighted to join Bergen Volunteers at this critical moment in our history,” said Bachrach. “It is a privilege to lead this distinguished service organization that provides vital resources to strengthen our community, including assisting those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Bachrach is a 2018 graduate of Bergen LEADS, Bergen Volunteers' community leadership program.
