Borough Road Repairs to Begin Monday
Heed no parking signs as improvements are made on six roads.

Franklin Lakes 2011 Road Improvement Program is slated to begin next week. Six borough streets will undergo construction for draining and/or paving.
Resident on the following streets will be notified a few days days prior to road closures begin:Â
- Crescent Drive and Tanglewood Court for drainage.       Â
- Indian Trail Drive and Trailing Ridge Road for paving.
- Mohawk Road for drainage and paving. Â Â Â
- Phelps Road and partial paving.
The DPW anticipates the project will take three weeks, during which time access to and from residences may be hindered.

"Every effort will be made to assure that the inconveniences are minimal," borough officials said. "All work will be completed as quickly as possible."
The work on Trailing Ridge Road will require that, for a short period of time, some area residents gain access through the Iron Latch Road gate or the Surrey Lane gate.Â

"No Parking" signs will be posted and affected residents will be given hand notices prior to the work being started.Â
